About

Hello! I'm an undergraduate student majoring in Data Science and Big Data Technology at a joint program between Minzu University of China and City University of Macau. Passionate about harnessing artificial intelligence to transform various fields, I'm particularly fascinated by its potential in medical image analysis, geography, and meteorology. Under the expert guidance of Hao Ren from the AI Research Institute at Guangdong's Second People’s Hospital, and Ting Shu from the Tropical Meteorology Research Institute of Guangdong Province, I'm deeply involved in pioneering research that seeks to push the boundaries of technology and its applications.

Projects & Column

I am eager to engage in the development of the open-source community. Although my development skills are still evolving, I have already taken part in several open-source projects. I will continue to actively share my personal projects, hoping to provide some wheels to those in need. Here are some of the projects I've been involved in, along with their descriptions:

• MUC-CityU_Report_Latex_Template (Github) (Overleaf) : This template is specifically designed for students of the Hainan International College, a joint institution of Minzu University of China and City University of Macau. Given that our two distinguished schools do not offer an official template nor have there been any precedents, I have created this simple template by integrating templates from other schools with my own layout experience.
• yolo_label_tool (Github) : Here are several custom programs I developed for handling label data in various formats. The goal is to transform these labels into formats acceptable by the YOLO model or to visually preview the labels on images. I found that existing tools do not adequately address certain issues, especially when dealing with segmented images that feature annular labels. To tackle these problems, I created these programs. One technique I use for labels with closed loops involves creating a gap at the thinnest part of the loop, turning it into a polygon. However, this approach may not be suitable for all tasks, so please use it judiciously based on your specific needs.

Research Group

I am honored to introduce our research group. We are a spontaneously formed team, consisting of students in the dual-degree undergraduate program at Minzu University of China and City University of Macau. We share common interests, plans, and values, and actively support each other's growth.

Our research focuses include Computer Vision, Medical imaging and LLM safety. Our team leader, Dongxiao Li, is a handsome, bright and generous person. If you are interested in joining our group for collaborative learning and growth, please feel free to reach out to him.
